Leadership

You should know who is accountable before you sign anything.

Four named people, each owning a defined part of the revenue cycle. When something goes wrong, there is no ambiguity about whose queue it is in.

Founder & Chief Executive

Dr. Zaka, PT, DPT

A practicing clinician before a company founder. Dr. Zaka built BlackBridgeRCM after watching capable practices lose revenue to process gaps rather than clinical shortcomings. He sets how the company reads documentation, talks to providers, and defines accountability internally.

His clinical background is not a marketing detail — it decides how the company works. Coding reviews start in the note. Provider queries are written the way a clinician would want to be asked. Documentation feedback is framed as clinical reasoning rather than as a compliance correction.

He remains directly involved in audits and escalations. Practices that engage BlackBridgeRCM speak with him, not only with an account manager.

Operating leads

Three functions, three owners.

Each lead owns a stage of the cycle end to end, including the escalations nobody wants to take.

KN

Kashif Nawaz

Revenue Cycle Operations Manager

Owns the daily rhythm: charge lag, submission volume, posting accuracy and the state of the aging. He is the person who decides which AR bucket the team opens first, and why.

MT

Muhammad Talha

Credentialing, Eligibility & Prior Authorization Lead

Runs everything that has to be finished before a patient is seen — enrollment, revalidation, coverage checks and authorization requests, including the follow-up calls nobody enjoys making.

HI

Hamza Ijaz

Medical Coding Lead

Leads code assignment and audit review. Writes provider feedback in clinical language so documentation improves rather than simply being corrected downstream.

Accountability

What 'named ownership' means in practice.

  • One escalation path, written down

You know who to contact for a stalled authorization versus a coding dispute, and what happens if they are unavailable.

  • The same team, not a rotating pool

Your account is staffed by specific people who learn your payers, your providers and your documentation habits.

  • Leadership on the monthly review

The person who owns the function attends the review and answers for the numbers directly.
